2024-2025 Perth Study Tour: Day 3

Day 3 - Perth Mint Gold Tour, AQWA, and Yanchep National Park

Today, after having breakfast, we walked to the Perth Mint. We joined the Perth Mint Gold Tour and learned the history of gold in Western Australia. We saw the One Tonne Gold Coin, which is the largest gold coin in the world. We also watched the molten gold being poured into a mould and turned into a solid gold bar in the 1899 traditional melting house. It was a memorable experience for everyone. 

Then we had delicious Chinese food in a nice restaurant. In the afternoon, we went to AQWA, the aquarium, and looked at a variety of sea animals. After that, we visited Yanchep National Park, where we discovered a few sleepy koalas and explored an underground cave called the Crystal Cave. We learned so much today!
