Day 4: Lancelin and Pinnacles Desert
What an exciting day for everyone!
In the morning, we travelled quite a long way to Lancelin, where we had sand sliding on sand dunes. Although it was tough walking up the sand dunes, the students gave their best effort and tried this exciting activity.
Then we had lobsters at Lobster Shack for lunch. The food was so delicious that the students said they would like to take their parents here to taste it. How kind and caring they are!
In the afternoon, we visited the Pinnacles Desert. The Pinnacles are made up of thousands of weathered limestone pillars that stand out amongst the otherwise flat desert, ranging in dimension and height, with some as high as 4 m. The students were totally amazed when they saw the pillars for the first time in their lives. Some groups took funny photos to share with their friends.
