Day 6

Our students had another day of wonderful experience in another Australian school named Redcliffe Primary School. When they arrived at the school, they were greeted by their buddies. Their buddies showed them around the campus and together they did fun activities that built up one another’s trust. Later the two groups of students learned Australian football skills and had an aboriginal art lesson, followed by a kung fu lesson. They listened to a radio programme run by the local students before lunch. After lunch, our students learned how to sing the Redcliffe Primary School song. Then we did sports and had fun in the huge sports ground. Finally it was time to leave. Our students will definitely miss the Australian buddies.

After the school visit, we went to the Fremantle Markets, which was first opened in 1897 (over 100 years ago). When we were walking in the old Victorian building, we felt like we had travelled back in time to shop like locals. The students kept their eyes open, looking carefully for products that can serve as souvenirs for their family members and friends.

After dinner, we had to say goodbye to Perth. Some students said that they would go back to Perth one day when they grow up!
